Each new school year brings its share of digital changes in the colleges of Yvelines. For September 2026, the NEO platform, published by Edifice and deployed since 2023 in the 113 public colleges of the department, introduces several new features that significantly modify the first connection for students and families.
Nocturnal suspension of NEO notifications: what changes in 2026
Have you noticed alerts from the ENT arriving late in the evening? Starting in the 2026 school year, this will no longer be the case. NEO now activates an automatic suspension of notifications between 8 PM and 7 AM, as well as on weekends.
A teacher submitting an assignment at 9 PM will not trigger any alerts on the student’s or parent’s phone. The notification will only appear the next morning at 7 AM. The goal: to reduce the information overload for families outside of school hours.
The setting is enabled by default. Messages do not disappear; they remain accessible in the ENT at any time. Only the push notification or email is delayed.
If you are used to reacting immediately to alerts, remember to check the platform manually in the evening to see the updates without waiting until the next day.

To find the details of the connection procedure and the steps specific to each profile, the access to the ENT college 78 Néo Yvelines is explained in an updated practical guide for this school year.
ENT usage charter 2026: a mandatory step before any navigation
Another point that may block users from the very first day: a new usage charter must be validated at the first connection. Edifice added this step in the summer of 2026.
As long as the charter is not accepted, no page of the ENT will display. Neither the homework diary, nor the messaging, nor access to Pronote. The screen remains frozen on the validation window.
This charter covers several points:
- The respect of personal data collected by the platform (names, addresses, academic results)
- The rules of online behavior, particularly regarding internal messaging between students
- The rights and duties of students and legal guardians concerning the use of shared content
Each family member with an account must individually validate the charter. A parent who has not yet accepted the document will not be able to view their child’s grades, even if the child has already validated theirs.
First connection at college 78: identifiers and common errors
The connection identifiers for NEO are distributed by each institution. Some colleges provide them on the first day of school, while others send them by mail the week before. The format varies: academic identifier in some cases, institution-generated code in others.
Some situations recur every year:
- The temporary password has expired before the first connection. You must then contact the college’s administration to obtain a new one
- The parent attempts to connect using the “student” profile (or vice versa). Each profile has its own identifiers, even within the same family
- The browser saves an old password linked to the previous ENT. Clearing the cache or using a private browsing window often resolves the issue
- The 2026 charter does not appear: this may indicate that the account has not yet been activated on the institution’s side
The connection portal remains accessible at the usual e-collège 78 address.

Pronote integrated into NEO: access grades from the ENT
Since the deployment of NEO in 2023, Pronote is linked to the ENT of the colleges in Yvelines. Once connected to e-collège 78, a link in the side menu allows you to open Pronote. The integration aims to avoid managing two sets of distinct identifiers.
If the connection to NEO fails, access to Pronote through this path is also blocked. Some colleges maintain direct access to Pronote via a specific URL for the institution, but this is not the case everywhere.
No changes are announced on this point for the 2026 school year. Access remains conditional on prior validation of the charter. A parent blocked at this step will therefore not be able to consult Pronote via the ENT until they have accepted the document.
Services available in the digital space of the colleges in Yvelines
Beyond Pronote, NEO brings together several tools used daily. The internal messaging allows exchanges between teachers, students, and families in a secure environment. The digital homework diary lists assignments and resources shared by teachers.
A document space offers online storage where each user can upload and retrieve their files. The institution’s news (school trips, parent-teacher meetings, exceptional closures) appears on the home feed.
All these services are accessible with a single username-password pair. This is the principle of the digital workspace: to centralize educational tools to avoid the proliferation of platforms.
The nocturnal suspension of notifications, the mandatory charter, and the Pronote integration are the three points to anticipate for this 2026 school year. Checking your identifiers a few days before D-Day and allowing two minutes to read and accept the charter is enough to avoid blocks on the first morning.
